I usually like the main item of a photo to be in focus. For exampe this ‘doughnut’ Lilly was so excited about.

While shooting Lilly’s horse jumping i took some photos of the hoofsmith changing the shoes on one of the polo horses. I thought the same principle would work but i feel the picture works better when the horse’s head is in focus, as if saying: yes I am getting new shoes! Let me know if you disagree 😉
